SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES

 

IMPORTANT CONDITIONS TO BE NOTED

 

 

  • The Advertising Club Awards committee uses the services of highly experienced professionals from the industry, as Honorary Jury Members
  • Advertising Agencies / Media Agencies / Advertisers / Production Houses / Media Houses / Individuals and all other bodies who enter their work for judging are deemed to have agreed to abide by the Rules & Regulations of Big Bang Awards of The Advertising Club Bangalore.
  • The decision of the Jury is final and no correspondence will be entertained by The Advertising Club or its Office Bearers in this regard
  • The Advertising Club reserves the right to accept or reject an entry without assigning any reasons thereof. The entry fee will not be refundable in such cases
  • Any or all disputes, if any, arising out of Big Bang Awards, will be Subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts in Bangalore only.

 

ENTRY SUBMISSION

 

  • Each entry must be submitted with a duly filled-in entry form.
  • For categories requiring multiple creative entries for the same category, one entry form is sufficient for all the creative pieces
  • Please check the Group and Category No. from the Category list on the website and enter it correctly in the entry form with each application 
  • All entries must be submitted with a proof of release date and a client sign-off / Client Purchase Order with date. This must be scanned and submitted as a PDF/ Word document along with the entry, mentioning the category number. Without this document, your entry will be considered incomplete and hence be disqualified

  • It is important to understand why we ask for a client sign-off. The Awards are for all creative / campaigns developed between 1st July 2017 to 30th June 2018. Therefore, we want to be sure that your entries were indeed developed during this period
  • Normally, your word would have been good enough. However, we have instances in the past, where, after an agency won the award, we have received written complaints that the campaign or creative was developed much earlier and the concerned agency has misrepresented the dates. To avoid such instances, we ask your client to corroborate that the creative was developed within the stipulated period.
  • Please note that all creatives may not be published. For example, in the case of Brand Identity, your client will need to give you a letter that the creative was developed by your agency and the month in which the Purchase Order for the same was given.
  • For corporate audio-visuals where there is no media release date, please submit the scanned copy of the client Purchase Order in a PDF format with your entry.
  • For Unpublished Press ads, please enter the date of submission as the release date in the entry form
  • Only ads released between 1st July 2017 and 30th June 2018can be entered for the awards
  • Incomplete entries are liable to be disqualified
  • In the event of disqualification, the entry fee will not be refunded

 

ENTRY FEES

 

  • The entry fee is Rs.2500/- per piece
  •  For international submissions, the entry fee is US$ 40 per piece
  • When more than one piece is submitted as a single entry, the entry fee applies to each piece. For instance, the entry fee for a three-piece advertisement campaign would be Rs.7500/- or US$ 120, as the case may be.
  • If you enter the same piece/campaign in different categories you have to make a separate entry submission for each piece/campaign and also pay the fee for each category.
  • The entry fee for Integrated Campaigns and Special Awards is Rs.10000/- each (US$ 150 each for international submissions). This is for Categories 1.8, 2.7, 3.8, 4.6, 5.8, 6.9, 7.8, 8.8, 9.8, 10.8, 11.7, 12.8, 13.8, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50 and 51

  • Entries without payment will not be considered

 


PAYMENT

 

  • The entry fee total is to be calculated according to the number of pieces/creatives entered and the corresponding entry fee for each category
  • Once you have submitted your entries online, you will receive an e-mail generated through the system with details of your entries along with an EntrantID and Submissions IDs
  • Please fill in these 2 IDs along with the other details in the printed invoice form and attach it to your cheque/DD. It is absolutely essential to fill in your GST Details & PAN number in the columns provided in the invoice before sending it to us. If you do not have a GST registration, you must attach a letter from your Auditors stating the reasons thereof

  • Consider your entries submitted only when you get a confirmation e-mail. This e-mail will be sent once we receive your cheque/DD. You can also login to track the receipt status of your Cheque/DD

FORMAT SPECIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS FOR UPLOADING ENTRIES

 

PRESS ADS, POP MATERIAL, OUT OF HOME, POSTERS, EXHIBITION STALLS 

 

  • JPEG format.
  • The supported file size is between 750KB to 2 MB
  • Image Size needs to be atleast 1024x576
  • For language entries, please submit the entries in the original language in which they were created, along with a translation in English
  • In the case of out of home, please send pictures of the actual installation, in addition to the creative in JPEG format
  • For Exhibitions please send photographs of the actual exhibition stall in addition to the digital mock-up


BROCHURES, SALES SUPPORT MATERIAL, VISUAL AIDS, LEAVE BEHIND LEAFLETS, GIMMICK DETAILERS 

 

  • JPEG format
  • The supported file size is between 750KB to 2 MB.
  • Image size needs to be at least 1024x576
  • Submit the finished form in JPEG format as 3D versions/ photographs along with a combined PDF of all individual pages, optimized for reading.
  • A short animated video of the action/usage not exceeding 12 MB in MP4 formatcan be submitted if required additionally

 

POWERPOINT PRESENTATION DECKS       

 

  • The supported file size is a maximum of 100 MB

 

 

TV COMMERCIALS, FILMS, AUDIO VISUALS, CORPORATE FILMS        

 

 

  • Formats supported are MP4
  • The file size should not exceed 100 MB
  • For language submissions, all entries must be submitted in the original language in which they were created, sub-titled in English
  • Please submit a 30 second shortened clip of your entry along with your entry in the same format to avoid disqualification. This is required for the showreel

 

 

RADIO

 

  • One digital file for each entry in MP3 format only. No other formats will be accepted
  • For Radio spot language all entries must be submitted in the original language in which they were created along with the script in English

 

BRAND IDENTITY

 

  • Submit logos and their applications in various material as JPEGs

 

FOR GROUP 2 ENTRIES ONLY

 

BROCHURES, COFFEE TABLE BOOKS, YEAR BOOKS, DAIRIES, CALENDARS, PHYSICAL NEWSLETTERS, PHYSICAL DIRECT MAILERS

 

  • Submit the finished form in JPEG format as 3D versions/ photographs along with a combined PDF of all individual pages, optimized for reading
  • In case the printing or production values need to be showcased and can be done only in physical form, you can submit the physical printed copies, in addition to the digital version as above, to the Ad Club mailing address

 

DIGITAL/ MOBILE/ SOCIAL MEDIA/ MEDIA/ EVENTS/INTEGRATED CAMPAIGNS/ CREATIVE CAMPAIGN OF THE YEAR

 

  • Submit a case study with the objective, creative solution and results as a video
  • Video Formats supported are MP4
  • The file should not exceed 3 minutes in duration and 100 MB in size
  • URL for any website/ social media handles created to be included

    Please submit a 30 second shortened clip of your entry along with your entry in the same format to avoid disqualification. This is required for the showreel

 

YOUNG ACHIEVERS AWARD FOR COMMUNICATION

  •  Portfolio covering all work done across media during the year under consideration to be submitted online in a PDF format optimized for reading (Categories 45,46,47, 48)
  • If including video, Video Formats supported are MP4
  • The file should not exceed 3 minutes in duration and 100 MB in size
  • URL for any website/ social media handles created to be included
